The equalizer came in the second half, right at the one hour mark. Lionel Messi did well to open up the game in the Colombian final third, and after David Ospina spilled Jose Sosa‘s low cross Messi unexpectedly attacked and put the ball into the empty net.
It has been a while since Messi scored for Argentina and this was the main subject of critics towards Leo. In the World Cup Qualifying Messi has 2 goals and is on the fifth place in Top Scorers. Uruguay’s Suarez is on the first place with 5 goals.
In conclusion for Argentina he has 19 goals in 66 apps, but also has 20 assists.

Pep Guardiola’s 200th match in charge of Barcelona was celebrated with a 4-0 win over Viktoria Plzen in Prague this evening, as the European champions qualified for the knockout stages. Lionel Messi scored another hat-trick and he broke the 200-goal barrier.
As the game started in Prague, it was already clear that Barcelona would be in charge of it. They should have been given a penalty on the 12th minute after a foul on Cesc Fabregas, but the referee didn’t think so. But after 10 minutes Marian Cisovsky fouled on Lionel Messi in the box and he was sent off. Messi opened the score with nice shot from the penalty spot.
After the goal Barcelona kept attacking Plzen and they had some great moments. Messi could score his second but the keeper played well and made a good save. But later Messi scored the second goal of the game. He played a nice one-two with Adriano and got the return pass in the box, from where he took a shot and Pavlik, the keeper could do nothing.
In the second half Barca had some more moments. Fabregas nearly added a third with a delicate chip that drifted just wide and Messi’s free-kick was saved by the keeper. Later Barca had a great chance to score again, on the counterattack Thiago Alacantara flicked a header over Pavlik but onto the crossbar.

Fabregas made it 3-0 on 71 minutes with a rare headed goal. It was difficult for Fabregas to miss such was the quality of Isaac Cuenca’s cross from the right-hand side. Messi then completed his hat-trick with a well taken finish after rounding Pavlik. Barca’s defender Gerard Pique made a great back-heel pass to Messi who scored his hat-trick.
From now on, in all competitions the Argentine genius has 22 goals and 11 assists in just 17 games.
The match finished 4-0 and this means that Barcelona has qualified to the knock-out stage even though they still have to play two group games. So now Guardiola can let players have rest during champions league games and let them concentrate on domestic league.

Maradona believes that his words made Lionel Messi better then Cristiano Ronaldo. As football legend told in his interview, he motivated Leo and made him better.
“Messi is great footballer and he deserves this. ”
“When he first beat Ronaldo, afterwards I told him ‘you must make sure you keep him in second place’. And last year he [Ronaldo] finished second again” – said Diego Maradona.

Messi and Barcelona Broke all records and Made impact win against Porto on Europe Super Cup Match. This was fantastic match, where only one team played football and this was Fc Barcelona.
Messi and his teammates ruined Porto and played as say wanted. Barca Deserved more goals, but last score was only 2:0. First goal was scored by Leo Messi, and second was just the perfect play of Argentinian. He made such effort with his brilliant pass that nobody could.
Fabregas scored and everything was done, but this goal will be placed in history of football, as Brilliant pass of the king of football, Lionel Messi.

Real Madrid and Barcelona faced each other in Spanish Super Cup matches. As we know there are two matches for this title and Barcelona destroyed Real in this battle.
Last El-Classico was just a perfect match. Real Madrid as we expected show really quality game, but at last, they did as they did in past games.
Messi showed who is superior and the best. He made such impact that nobody could save guests. Argentinian Scored Two great goals and one assist pass. He won this match. He is king of the football. Real Madrid defend line tried to stop him, but Leo was unstoppable.

The UEFA Club Footballer of the Year will represent the best player of 2010/11 years season, regardless of nationality, who played in one of the 53 UEFA member states over the previous season. Uefa announced today that three most dominated players are Leo Messi and Xavi Hernández and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The award will be placed in Monaco on August 25 before draw of Champions league 2011/2012 season.

Lionel Messi made new record in History of Football. He had now 65 appearances in 2010 – 11 Season.
It is new record. Last high appearances had also Messi in 2009-2010 season, when he played 64 match.
Messi started this season in 21 August of 2010 and he played 65 match against Costa Rica on Copa America. Argentina National Team is in Quarter final, so Messi will add some matches on his record
This numbers are telling us that Messi never stops and plays as best as he can.
